Description:
In this course, students will create artistic and functional pottery such as cups, mugs, bowls, plates, and vases.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Slab Construction: Explore techniques to shape and form pottery.
  • Surface Decoration: Use creative methods to add texture and design to your pieces.
  • Receive demonstrations and personal feedback in every class, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.

What You’ll Take Home:
At the end of the course, students will have finished glazed ceramics that are ready for use.

Who Should Join:

  • Open to all skill levels.
  • Suitable for complete beginners and those with ceramics experience.

None

Supplies:

  • Included in Tuition: $75 materials fee (covers one bag of clay and glazes).
  • Optional Materials:
    • Mini ribbon tool set
    • Textured objects from home (e.g., lace, leaves, or the sole of a shoe)
