Advanced Digital Photography

Description:
This course is designed to expand your photographic skills and aesthetic sensibility while enhancing techniques to improve your work. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of advanced functions of the digital camera and work towards developing a cohesive body of photographs as part of a project-based series.

What You'll Learn:

Explore and refine compositional techniques to engage your audience and convey your visual voice as an artist.
Discuss the conceptual effects of color in imagery.
Examine and compare contemporary and historically significant photographic works.

Class Format:

Group discussions and critiques
Short lectures
Shooting time

Some lighting equipment will be available for use.

Prerequisites:
Completion of Photography 101 or equivalent experience, such as the ability to operate your camera in manual mode.

DSLR Camera
Laptop or tablet
Editing software of your choice
