Youth Classes
Junior Ceramicists: Pottery (7-11 yrs)
Junior Ceramists: Pottery for Ages 7-9 - 6 week class (You will choose which set on the next step)
1st set of 6 weeks: January 18 - March 8 (No class on Feb 22 & March 1)
2nd set of 6 weeks: March 15 - April 26 (No class on April 19)
Description:
Ignite your child's passion for pottery in our Junior Ceramists class! Designed for budding artists aged 7 to 9, this dynamic course combines skill-building with boundless creativity.
What They’ll Learn:
- Basics of Hand Building: Foundational pottery techniques.
- Glazing Techniques: Experimenting with colors and finishes.
- A journey of artistic discovery, fostering a lifelong love for ceramics and sculpture.
Important Notes:
- Ceramics require two firings in our kilns. Final work will be ready for retrieval one week after the last class.
- What to Bring:
- A water bottle.
- Art clothes are encouraged.
- Snacks are welcome.
