Wednesday Open Studio Figure Study: Short Pose
Uninstructed Figure Studio
Description:
This uninstructed figure studio features live models in one- to twenty-minute poses, providing an opportunity to explore life-drawing or life-painting skills.
Details:
- Sessions are held in our beautiful 3rd-floor atelier with:
- North light during daylight hours.
- Ample artificial lighting at night.
- The Academy provides:
- Easels, boards, drawing benches, and chairs.
- Participants must bring their own preferred art supplies.
Requirements:
- Male and female models will be nude.
- Students must be at least 18 years of age.
- Sessions are monitored by experienced staff to ensure the studio operates at a high standard.

None
Enrollment Information:
- Each class must have a minimum of 6 students enrolled.
- Registration: Please register online at least 24 hours before class to reserve your place.
- Drop-ins: Welcome if space permits.
- Cancellation Notice: You will be contacted in advance if the minimum enrollment is not met.
Instructor:
Peter Frauenfelder
Peter Frauenfelder is a visual artist, sign painter, musician and native San Franciscan who has lived in New Orleans since early 2020. Since a teenager, Peter has worked in the arts and education with a focus on fine art, mentorship, and community development.
