Exploring Silkscreen
Course Description:
Exploring Silkscreen immerses students in the screen-printing process from start to finish. This course is suitable for both beginners and intermediate students, offering knowledge applicable to commercial and fine art purposes.
Students will learn the fundamentals in a creative and engaging manner, including:
- Screen coating and preparation
- Printing techniques
- Reclaiming screens
Tuition:
Includes a supply fee covering screens, emulsion, inks, and tools.
Prerequisites:
None
Supplies:
An additional supply list will be discussed on the first day, but the introductory list includes:
- Sketchbook
- Pencil, pen, and sharpie
- Painter’s tape
- Apron
